video: Wheelbone - your secret weapon when learning skateboard tricks
Compared to snowboarding and wakeboarding (where you're strapped in) and surfing (where most falls are absorbed by the sea), fact is skateboarding is hard. But, if you're looking for that extra push to help you nail that elusive trick - from your first ollie, kick flip or back-lip - the Wheelbone could be your secret weapon.
Genius in it's simplicity, this plastic construction fits around the wheels of your skateboard to keep it stationary when you're attempting tricks, helping to maintain balance, body position and make stomping easier. Plus the Wheelbone creates more tension between the trucks allowing you to pop even higher, with it's increased stored energy, all weighing in less than 200g.

When heros shred part 2: Farah Fawcett's Charlie's Angels skateboard scene
A few weeks back I shared a clip of Wonder Woman ripping on an old school skateboard, despite her restrictive, and rather high waisted, granny knickers.
Now's the turn for the most iconic 'tv totty on a deck' clip ever broadcast from the original Charlie's Angels; escaping a diamond thief on an old school set-up Farah Fawcett manages to keep her big flicks intact while dodging ice cream vans, kids and traffic - with the help of stunt double and skate legend Stacey Peralta.
Silly, ridiculous, but brilliant in it's retro cheesiness, keep reading to see it.....

Old school skating: Wonder Woman saves the day!

In all honesty, this clip isn't that cool - or clever - but something about seeing the full-on glam of Wonder Woman racing down the streets on a skateboard is quite spectacular, in a retro, ironic way. Her impeccably matched lipstick, helmet and bustier combo is pretty damn impressive too: if only us mere mortals could look that hot while riding tarmac.
Keep reading to see the video and look out for more Superheroes Who Shred on Nollie soon...

New season Roxy Podcasts: Don't Pick a Fight With Torah Bright
Winter must be rearing it's frosty head soon as Roxy have just released the first in their new series of Snow Podcasts. Titled Don't Pick a Fight With Torah Bright this first episode shows that Australian pipe queen Torah Bright ain't as nice as she makes out, as fists fly between her and fellow team member Kjersti Buass. With a nod to kung fu flicks (complete with dodgy dubbing, a cheesy soundtrack and monochrome shots), it's a light at heart intro to the new season.
